>> Your athlete is hit on the
head during an on-field collision. He continues playing, but you
notice that he isn't acting right. Do you need to call a timeout to check on him? Should you remove him from play right away? These questions might seem familiar, but
how confident do you feel in taking action? The goal of this training is to give you the
tools and confidence needed to lower the chance for concussion among your athletes, spot
a possible concussion, and know what to do to protect an athlete from further injury. This training will also discuss what you can
do to help an athlete have a good recovery. This includes helping an athlete
get back to school and start and complete the return-to-sports process. The training is divided into four lessons. After the training, you will be
tested on what you have learned.
Once you pass the test with a score of at
least 80%, you will receive a certificate of completion that you can save and print. Training navigation is easy to use. You must view each lesson in order. You can go back and review
content, but you cannot jump ahead. If you log out and log back in, the
training will pick up where you left off. At any time, you may visit the Resource Center
button to find handouts and other helpful tools.
